Chris Deas, PhD, works to implement and analyze assessment tools for ICA. Through these analyses, ICA can better gauge and manage the effectiveness of our programs and services. Chris is working towards getting ICA recognized as a certified professional continuing education units (CEUs) provider. Chris completed her PhD in Natural Health and Wellness, has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology / Behavioral Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Theater. Over her career, Chris has concentrated on researching trends, building practical programs, designing agendas, and delivering innovative business solutions. Chris creates programs which translate theoretical principles into practical, applicable, and fun exercises and activities. All of her programs and courses are based on solid, adult learning principles and state of the art information on the subject. Along with Jan Klos (below), she cofounded InSIght Atlanta, a consulting and coaching firm that specializes in assisting both individuals and businesses master transitions in the workplace and their careers. She is a Licensed and Nationally Certified Professional Counselor and as well as a State of Georgia Mediator. She designs, presents and manages a diversity of wellness, team, leadership and change projects for American Red Cross, Arthritis Foundation, AT&T, AVAYA Communications, Emory University, Alcatel-Lucent and Philips Electronics.
